We recognise that those who send documents to us to be translated will have queries or even concerns over how their personal or private information is being used and stored. The purpose of this privacy policy is, therefore, to inform service users about the measures that we implement to ensure complete security and confidentiality. 

At EK Translations, we address all security concerns of our service users. For this reason, we are more than happy to discuss NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) at your request so that you feel rest assured that your documents are handled appropriately. Such an agreement will exist between the service user and EK Translations. Additionally, prior to providing the translator with the documents to be translated, they too are obligated to sign an NDA, agreeing to the safeguarding of your information.

We will do our best to be as transparent as possible in the ways in which we use your data. We aim to only gather the data that is required to process and complete your request successfully. As a service user, you have the right to information. This means that at any time, you can ask us as to where your data is, why it is being gathered, and how it is being used and stored. We gather this data as a means to identify you, to provide a catered service for you, to communicate with you regarding the status of your request, and to request feedback so we are able to enhance our services and provide a better customer experience.

Furthermore, the personal and private information that you share with us will never be distributed elsewhere without proper and full agreement. If any case were to arise whereby, we may need to share your details with a trusted partner, we will directly contact you first via email or phone to ask for consent. EK Translations takes full responsibility on ensuring confidentiality. 

We update our Privacy Policy regularly so that our service users are always equipped with the most up to date and relevant information. 

In short, EK Translations maintains a focus on ensuring that all who use our services feel confident and comfortable in the ways in which we process requests and handle documents.
